Public research release 1.0 · 5 October 2026

Your research values

Calculations and research downloads run in a browser worker on your device. This application does not upload entered research values to a calculation server. It has no application analytics or research-data upload form.

The hosting provider receives ordinary page and runtime-file requests and handles access and sign-in. Its handling of request metadata is separate from the values you enter in the lab.

Saved drafts and downloads

Saved drafts stay in this browser on this device and website address. They are not an encrypted cloud backup. Another person using the same browser profile may access them. Moving to another browser, device or domain does not move saved drafts; export a draft JSON file and import it at the new address.

Research reports and reproducibility packages include the inputs, sources and results. Inspect them before sharing. Exporting a file does not send it to another person.

If a calculation cannot run

Check the visible error and follow its measurement link. A value must lie inside its own recorded bounds. A missing or invalid measurement is never replaced with zero. Change real bounds only when the measurement evidence supports the change.

If the browser calculator cannot load, check your connection and retry. Export a draft backup before reloading. Calculator files are about 22 MB on the first visit; report tools require additional downloads. Once loaded, computation is on your device. Offline availability and uninterrupted hosting are not guaranteed.

Understanding the answer

Use the Guide for the first example and Methods for exact definitions. Finite input bounds are not confidence intervals. Unaccounted lithium is not an identified measured loss. Paper reconstructions reproduce only the quantities and conditions their sources support; they do not validate a whole plant or commercial performance.

Help and release status

Self-help is available in the Guide, measurement explanations and Methods. The developer has chosen to keep the contact email private. No public support email or response-time commitment is offered. Desktop Chrome and automated WebKit calculations and downloads were checked on the developer's Mac. Independent human usability feedback, physical-phone checks, screen-reader speech and full native-browser coverage have not yet been completed.
